Monday: Cloudy with showers along the north coast and fog in the southeast. Sunny elsewhere. Above average temperatures in the south, near average elsewhere. High fire danger in the interior.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with isolated showers along east coast, becoming scattered around Cassowary Coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Temperatures near average in Far North, above average elsewhere and well above average in southwest. Minimum temperatures above average in southwest, near average on east coast and in Far North, and below average elsewhere. High fire danger in central and southern interior.
Wednesday: Warm and sunny inland. Partly cloudy on east coast with light showers in Wide Bay, North Tropical Coast, and Torres Strait. High temperatures in southern interior and above average elsewhere. High fire danger in central and southern interior.
Thursday: Thursday will be dry and sunny with hot weather in the southeast. On Friday, there will be isolated coastal showers and cooler temperatures returning to South East Queensland. This will extend to the North Tropical Coast on Saturday. Temperatures will be above average, with especially high maximum temperatures in the southeast on Thursday. On Friday, maximum temperatures will return to near average in the south. There will be a high fire danger in the interior, northwest, and southeast on Thursday, but it will contract to just the interior and northwest from Friday.
