Forecast for 30th and 31st for the Country Fest continues to show as mainly fine with only scattered showers.
Welcome another Bold Shout supporter, TyrePlus Townsville, Sturt St. TyrePlus will also be the major sponsor for April of the Daily Forecast.
Easter will begin as we expected with rain, and afternoon uplift causing more rain along mountains and the trough. Saturday that clears to the Peninsula and NT, Trade winds return showers to the NQ exposed coastline near Innisfail and the Whitsundays. Then ridging returns slightly more showers on Monday. But mainly fine from Saturday for the state.
National
In moist and unstable winds, expect showers and storms over eastern WA, far northern SA, the NT, northern and western QLD, and the far northwest of NSW. Heavy rainfall is possible in some areas. Showers will also be present along the eastern seaboard due to cooling southeasterly winds. The rest of the region will likely remain dry under the influence of a high-pressure system.

State
Low pressure trough, drawing in tropical moisture, enhances rainfall and cloud cover before moving west with high pressure ridge. Unsettled weather weakens early next week but may return with new trough moving through southern states.
