Monsoon Update
TC Neville was born today, took many by surprise as it was not expected to deepen, however it has a very even form and looks unhindered.
Initial position: 17.7 degrees south latitude and 109.6 degrees east longitude Initial strength: 40 knots (about 74 kilometers per hour) Location reference: 375 nautical miles northwest of Learmonth, Australia Movement in the last 6 hours: Moving westward at 6 knots (about 11 kilometers per hour) Significant wave height: Waves reaching 13 feet (about 4 meters)
Tropical Cyclone 18S is forming quickly, with organized bands and strong turning seen in satellite images. Winds around the storm's center are around 30-35 knots. The storm's core is strengthening, with upper-level conditions supporting its development. The storm's current strength is estimated at 40 knots.
Showers for the NQ coast including the Burdekin to Cairns and the Whitsundays. It should ease back by evening as the Pink concert starts. The next day, Saturday is expected to produce scattered showers later in the day and into the evening.
Easter a looks to have trade wind showers around, of about 1 to 5mm.
National
Areas of intense rain, storms, and winds will be caused by unstable winds in the northern tropics and the Northern Territory interior. Western Queensland and northern New South Wales will experience showers and storms, while the east coast will have showers due to humid and unstable winds. A high-pressure system will clear the southern and western parts of the country and maintain breezy conditions in Western Australia.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:
The weather forecast for tomorrow is partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the north, near zero elsewhere, with temperatures ranging from low 20s overnight to 29-35 during the day, light winds becoming easterly at 15-25 km/h in the morning.
Central Coast and Whitsundays:
High temperatures reaching 29 to 34 degrees with overnight temperatures falling to 19 to 23, winds east to southeasterly at 20 to 30 km/h, partly cloudy with a high chance of showers near the coast and a medium chance elsewhere, and no rainfall mentioned.
Peninsula:
The weather forecast includes a high chance of showers with thunderstorms, light winds, and temperatures ranging from low 20s overnight to low 30s during the day.
Gulf Country:
Partly cloudy with very high chance of showers near NT border, medium chance elsewhere, chance of thunderstorm, heavy falls possible, light winds becoming easterly 15-20 km/h, overnight mid 20s and daytime low 30s.
Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:
