In Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, rain and storms will persist, with the heaviest rainfall expected in the eastern regions where humid winds will be the most unstable. Flooding is probable in these areas. Meanwhile, high-pressure systems will maintain dry conditions over much of Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, and the interior regions, with showers and storms confined to the northern tropics.

  • Sunday: Scattered showers and isolated storms in central and southeastern areas, with rain possibly becoming widespread in parts of the east. Heavy rainfall possible in southeast Queensland. Mostly sunny in western regions, partly cloudy in central and southern interior.
