National

Heavy rain and storms are expected to move across the southern parts of Queensland, the eastern regions of New South Wales, and the northern areas of Victoria. Winds from the east to northeast will pick up, bringing gusty conditions and increased humidity, making it more unstable and likely leading to flooding. Showers and storms are forecasted for the far northern tropics, while warm winds will prevail in the western parts of Western Australia. A high-pressure system will keep the rest of the regions dry.
