21.11.24 A trough sitting parallel to the coast has created a convergence of cooler than normal air along the coast from the South and also air mixing from the dry inland west. The southern end of the trough has shifted out to sea thus showing up the hype of 250 plus mm in 24 hours to be full of it as usual. See previous post on long range accumulated rainfall and how unreliable they are for forecasting but great for grabbing fan base.
