Monsoon Special:
The monsoon trough has retreated North of Townsville from the circulating weak low pressure embedded on the trough to the Gulf. And that is what I mean by it will move very quickly, 100s of km just like that. So all the rain is currently heading SE but by afternoon the rain developing South of the trough will head North and the rain developing North of the trough will head South and gather. Unfortunately that means Ingham again. There is a new low forming at the bottom of the Gulf, the old one is staying West. There is still rain around as it moves about. But as you can see by the above daily graph the rain is light for Townsville.
