Winds will pick up later today as the air is squeezed around the end of the monsoon trough. Rain will also intensify but mainly around Townsville as the trough shifts South over the day. While some areas will see flooding and maybe used to this flooding, it would be best if people had a plan for if they see it getting beyond the normal. Please keep in contact with neighbours.
