What a week to start: Looks like the sky is feeling a bit moody today, with a high chance of rain and even a thunderstorm thrown into the mix. And not just any thunderstorm, oh no - we're talking severe with damaging winds and heavy downpours. So heavy, in fact, that flash flooding could be on the cards. The winds are feeling a bit indecisive, starting off southeasterly at a gentle 15 to 20 km/h before cranking up to a more assertive easterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning. Overnight, temperatures will be dropping to the low to mid 20s, while daytime temperatures will be hovering in the mid to high 20s. So, if you're thinking of venturing outside today, maybe pack an umbrella and some sturdy shoes. And remember, safety first - it's all fun and games until Mother Nature decides to throw a tantrum. Stay safe out there, folks!

Monsoon Special:
The monsoon trough has just dropped over the NQ and it has been carrying a load that is for sure. Here is a look at 4 models including ACCESS G and C. Take your pick but ACCESS C has performed well today. But be prepared either way. While there may be some disappointed people to the North if the heavy rain doesn't fall, I am sure there will be more thankful people if it doesn't.
