Southwest WA will experience showers due to a moist westerly airstream. Humid winds will bring showers to the coasts of QLD and NSW, as well as the northeast of NT. Light onshore winds will cause patchy showers over northern TAS and southern VIC. A high-pressure system will maintain settled conditions across the rest of Australia.

  • Sunday: Cloudy with showers in east, Darling Downs, Granite Belt, northern Peninsula, Torres Strait. Scattered showers in southeast Queensland, North Tropical Coast. Partly cloudy inland, Gulf Country. Light to moderate east-southeasterly winds, fresh near coast north of Mackay. Winds light and variable at times in south.

  • Monday: Eastern districts, northern Peninsula, and Torres Strait: partly cloudy with isolated showers. North Tropical Coast: cloudy with showers scattered. Elsewhere: mostly sunny with temperatures near average.

  • Tuesday: Some clouds, isolated showers east, scattered showers Sunshine Coast/North Tropical Coast. Cloudy Far North Queensland, mostly sunny elsewhere. Temps near average.

  • Wednesday: Eastern districts and northern Peninsula may have isolated showers. Scattered showers expected on North Tropical Coast. Above average temperatures in southwest and most of the state.

High pressure over Tasmania extends ridge to Queensland, bringing winds, showers in east. High to move northeast, maintain ridge over Queensland. Trough may bring rain to western/southern inland Queensland next week.

North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:

Max temperature: 27°C, Min temperature: 15°C, Wind: E to SE 25-35 km/h, Rainfall: Medium chance of showers in south, slight elsewhere, Other: Partly cloudy.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

Maximum temperature in the mid to high 20s, minimum temperature between 13 and 18, light winds becoming southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h, slight chance of a shower in the north, near zero chance elsewhere, and partly cloudy conditions with easterly winds later in the day.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

Maximum temperature in the mid to high 20s, minimum temperature between 13 and 17, wind speed 15 to 25 km/h from east to southeasterly, rainfall mostly sunny with a slight chance of a shower along the coastal fringe and morning fog in the south.

Peninsula:

The max temperature will be around 30 degrees with a min of 18-23, wind speeds of 25-35 km/h from the east to southeasterly direction, and partly cloudy weather with a chance of rainfall.

Gulf Country:

The maximum temperature will be in the low 30s, with minimum temperatures between 16 and 21, wind speeds easing from 15 to 25 km/h to light, shifting from east to southeasterly, and a sunny day with no rainfall expected.

Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:

Mostly sunny with easterly winds at 20 to 30 km/h and temperatures ranging from 13 to 31 with minimal rainfall.

Capricornia:

The chance of fog in the early morning with overnight temperatures dropping to between 9-16°C, followed by a mostly sunny day with light winds and daytime temperatures reaching the mid to high 20s, and no mention of rainfall.

Central Highlands and Coalfields:

Max temperature in the mid to high 20s, min temperature between 7 and 13, wind speed light becoming southeasterly 15-20 km/h in the morning, wind direction changing to light in the evening, sunny with a chance of fog in the early morning in the east, no rainfall.

Central West:

Max temperature: 30°C, Min temperature: 10-14°C, Wind speed: 15-25 km/h easterly to southeasterly, Rainfall: None, Other: Sunny

North West:

The weather will be mostly sunny with a max temperature of around 30, a min temperature between 14-18, light winds becoming easterly to southeasterly at 15-25 km/h, and no rainfall expected.

Channel Country:

Max temperature: mid to high 20s; Min temperature: 12-15; Wind speed: 15 to 20 km/h; Wind direction: northeast to southeasterly becoming southeasterly; Rainfall: none; Overall weather: Mostly sunny.

Maranoa and Warrego:

Mostly sunny with morning fog in the northeast, light winds, temperatures falling to 6-11°C overnight and reaching the mid 20s during the day, with no rainfall.

Darling Downs and Granite Belt:

The weather forecast includes daytime temperatures in the low to mid-20s, morning fog with a slight chance of showers in the afternoon and evening over the Granite Belt, near zero chance of rain elsewhere, light winds, and overnight temperatures around 10 degrees.

Wide Bay and Burnett:
