In a westerly airflow following a front, showers are expected over Tasmania and southern Victoria. Along the coasts of NSW, northeast Queensland, and the Top End, light showers will occur due to onshore winds around a strong high pressure system. Unstable air will trigger showers and storms over the west of Western Australia, while clear conditions will prevail elsewhere under the influence of the high pressure system.
