Persistent humid easterly winds across the eastern states will remain unstable, resulting in rainfall and storms, with the most significant impact expected over New South Wales, particularly in the southeastern regions. Showers and storms in southwestern Western Australia will dissipate early as a front moves southward. Moist onshore winds will bring showers along the Queensland coast and the far northeast of the Northern Territory.

  • Saturday: Scattered showers on the Sunshine Coast to K'gari, Central Coast, Whitsundays, North Tropical Coast, Tablelands, northern Peninsula, Torres Strait. Isolated showers elsewhere in the east. Cloudy with showers, rain, thunderstorms in southwestern Queensland. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Moderate east to northeasterly winds. Fresh winds from the southeast along the east coast. Winds south to southeasterly in the far west.

  • Sunday: Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms in South East Queensland. Isolated showers in east coast and interior. Partly cloudy elsewhere with fog patches in the south. High overnight temps. Average daytime highs, cooler in the southwest.

  • Monday: On Monday, expect isolated showers in eastern districts north of Gladstone, becoming scattered in the Cassowary Coast and Daintree. Chance of morning fog in the southeast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Temperatures slightly below average in the west, slightly above average in the east.

  • Tuesday: Isolated showers on east coast and Torres Strait, scattered in North Tropical Coast and Tablelands, becoming widespread in Hinchinbrook, Cassowary Coast and Daintree. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Cool nights in south and west, slightly below-average daytime temps in the southwest, mostly above-average elsewhere in the state.

Peninsula:

The weather will have a maximum temperature around 30°C with minimum temperatures between 19-23°C, light winds becoming east-southeasterly 20-30 km/h, and a slight chance of showers near the east coast with a mostly partly cloudy sky and near-zero rainfall.

Gulf Country:

The weather will be mostly sunny with daytime temperatures reaching the low 30s, with overnight temperatures falling to 18-22, light winds becoming east to southeasterly 15-25 km/h in the morning, then light in the evening, and no rainfall expected.

Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:

The maximum temperature will reach 32 degrees with easterly winds at 15-25 km/h, partly cloudy skies, minimum temperature dropping to 15-18 degrees, and no rainfall expected.

Capricornia:
