A deep low continues to weaken in the Tasman Sea and may cause strong winds, large waves, and rain in TAS and eastern VIC. A moist, unstable airflow feeding troughs brings showers to SA, the interior, WA's north, east, and south, and far north QLD. High pressure should keep other areas clear.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

Maximum temperature in the mid to high 20s with light winds and clear skies, overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 14 degrees, minimal chance of rainfall.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

The weather forecast includes a maximum temperature of 27°C, a minimum temperature of 8°C, wind speeds of 15 to 20 km/h, wind direction variable from south to southeast, a chance of light rain, and overall conditions described as sunny with changing winds.
