National

A low and trough will bring a showery, southerly change over eastern NSW, which will then weaken over the southeast. Despite this weakening, it will still maintain a few showers and cold air over Tasmania, Victoria, and eastern South Australia. Cool southerly winds will also affect Queensland and the Northern Territory. Meanwhile, warmer easterly winds will prevail over Western Australia ahead of an approaching cold front.
