There will be scattered showers in a moisture band from northern WA to northeast NSW, with occasional storms in northern NSW. Cold southwesterly winds with a front will bring showers to Tasmania, Victoria, and southern South Australia. Moist onshore winds will bring showers to Queensland's east coast and southern Western Australia.

  • Friday: Clear in western Queensland and the Gulf Country. Partly cloudy with isolated showers, scattered over the Cassowary Coast. Light to moderate winds shifting directions. Southwest change in Channel Country.

  • Saturday: Some clouds in the northwest, north, and Peninsula. Mostly cloudy with showers in other areas. Chance of thunderstorms in some places. Morning fog possible in eastern districts. Temperatures mostly above average.

North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:

The weather forecast includes maximum temperatures reaching 28°C, minimum temperatures dropping to 11°C, wind speeds of 15 to 25 km/h from the east to southeasterly direction, and a medium chance of showers near the coast with a slight chance elsewhere, along with partly cloudy conditions.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

The weather will have daytime temperatures in the low to high 20s, with overnight temperatures falling to between 11 and 17, light winds becoming east to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h, partly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower and winds tending east to northeasterly in the middle of the day.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

The weather forecast includes a maximum temperature of 27°C, a minimum temperature of 11°C, easterly winds at 15 to 25 km/h becoming light, a slight chance of showers mainly in the early morning, and overnight temperatures between 11 and 16°C, with daytime temperatures reaching 22 to 27°C under partly cloudy skies.

Peninsula:

Max temperature: 34°C, Min temperature: 15°C, Wind speed: 25-35 km/h easterly, Wind direction: East, Rainfall: Slight chance of a shower near east coast, Other: Partly cloudy, Overnight temperatures falling to between 15 and 21.

Gulf Country:

Mostly sunny with temperatures reaching the low 30s, light winds shifting from east to northeasterly 15-25 km/h and dropping to 14-17 overnight.

Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:

Capricornia:

Central Highlands and Coalfields:

Max temperature: mid to high 20s, Min temperature: 9-12, Wind speed: becoming east to northeasterly 15-25 km/h, Wind direction: light, Rainfall: none, Other: Partly cloudy with temperatures fluctuating during day and night.

Central West:

North West:

The weather will be mostly sunny with light winds becoming easterly to northeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h in the morning and then becoming light in the middle of the day, with overnight temperatures dropping to between 10 and 14°C and daytime temperatures reaching around 30°C, while no significant rainfall is expected.

Channel Country:

Darling Downs and Granite Belt:

Wide Bay and Burnett:
