National

A low pressure system and front in the Bight will bring gusty winds and showers to South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales, along with some snow showers in the Alps. There will be a few showers in far northern South Australia and the southern part of the Northern Territory due to increasing moisture. Cold westerly winds will bring showers to southwest Western Australia.

High over Tasman Sea shifts east bringing trough to Queensland, with rain spreading inland. Trough moves across state, followed by developing cloud band and new high setting in.

North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:

The weather will be partly cloudy with a medium chance of showers near the coast, a slight chance elsewhere, with easterly to southeasterly winds at 15 to 25 km/h, and temperatures ranging from 21 to 28 during the day and falling to between 12 and 19 overnight.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

The weather will be partly cloudy with temperatures ranging from the low to high 20s, light winds becoming east to southeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h, and a medium chance of showers in the north and a slight chance elsewhere. Overnight temperatures may drop to between 11 and 16 degrees.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

The weather forecast includes a max temperature of 27°C, min temperature of 11°C, winds becoming easterly at 15 to 25 km/h, a slight chance of a shower, and partly cloudy skies with overnight temperatures falling to 11-16°C and daytime temperatures reaching 22-27°C.

Peninsula:

Max temperature: Around 30, Min temperature: Between 15 and 21, Wind speed: 15 to 25 km/h, Wind direction: East to southeasterly, Rainfall: Medium chance of showers near the east coast, Partly cloudy overnight.

Gulf Country:

The weather will be sunny with maximum temperature in the low 30s, minimum temperature around 12-17, wind speeds of 15-25 km/h shifting from east to northeasterly and decreasing in the afternoon, with a chance of fog in the west in the early morning and no rainfall expected.

Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:

Max temperature: 26-31, Min temperature: 9-13, Wind speed: 15-25 km/h, Wind direction: East to northeasterly, Rainfall: Slight chance of a shower in the southeast, near zero elsewhere, Other: Mostly sunny.

Capricornia:

Maximum temperature: low to mid 20s, Minimum temperature: 9-15, Wind speed: light becoming east to northeasterly 15-20 km/h, Wind direction: east to northeasterly, Rainfall: slight chance of a shower, Other: Partly cloudy with chance of morning fog.

Central Highlands and Coalfields:

The weather forecast includes low to high 20s temperatures, morning fog in the southeast, slight chance of a shower, easterly to northeasterly winds 15-25 km/h, and overnight temperatures of 7-11.

Central West:

Mostly sunny with temperatures ranging from 9 to 30 degrees, and winds shifting from northeasterly 15-25 km/h to east to northeasterly and light with some increased speed throughout the day.

North West:

Channel Country:

Maximum temperature around 30, minimum temperatures between 9 and 13, with mostly sunny conditions and shifting winds from north to northeasterly at 30-45 km/h to south to southwesterly at 15-20 km/h during the afternoon and evening, and no rainfall expected.

Maranoa and Warrego:

Max temperature: Low to mid 20s, Min temperature: 6 to 11, Wind speed: Northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending northerly 25 to 40 km/h early in the morning then becoming light in the evening, Wind direction: Northeasterly to northerly, Rainfall: Slight chance of a shower near the New South Wales border, near zero chance elsewhere, Other: Partly cloudy with chance of morning fog in the northeast.

Darling Downs and Granite Belt:

Max temperature in the low 20s, min temperature between 6 and 9, winds northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light later, partly cloudy with chance of fog in the morning and slight chance of shower in the south.

Wide Bay and Burnett:

The forecast includes daytime temperatures in the low to mid 20s with light winds becoming northeasterly, a slight chance of a shower, overnight temperatures between 7 and 13, and a chance of morning fog inland under partly cloudy skies.

Southeast Coast:
