Trough crosses southern QLD on Sat, with new ridge following. High moves east across central and eastern Australia from Sun, turning winds onshore along east coast. High reaches northern Tasman Sea by Tue, maintaining ridge over QLD, drifting slowly east over following days. New trough may move into southwestern QLD late next week.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

Maximum temperature in the low to mid 20s, minimum temperature between zero and 7, light winds, sunny with patches of morning frost inland, and no rainfall expected.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

The weather forecast includes daytime temperatures reaching the low 20s with morning frost inland, light winds, and overnight temperatures falling to between 2 and 6, with no rainfall expected.
