National

A low-pressure system will shift away from the southeast, reducing showers over Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales, although clouds will remain. Isolated showers, possibly bringing snow, will affect the Alps and Tablelands of New South Wales. Meanwhile, a front will bring gusty rain to southwestern Western Australia and coastal South Australia. High pressure will clear conditions in the eastern interior.
