Strong clockwise winds around a low pressure system will bring cold and showery conditions to Victoria, Tasmania, southern South Australia, and southern and central New South Wales. Showers will turn to snow on the Alps and higher elevations of the Central and Southern Tablelands. Humid onshore winds will cause isolated showers in northern Queensland and southeastern Western Australia.

North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:

Max temperature reaching 29°C, min temperature dropping to 10°C, wind speeds starting light and becoming northwest to southwesterly 15-20 km/h, slight chance of shower, partly cloudy with fog in the south in the early morning.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

Highs in the low to mid 20s, with overnight lows between 8-13, light winds changing from south to southwesterly at 15-20 km/h, minimal rainfall, and sunny conditions expected.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

The weather forecast includes maximum temperatures in the low to mid 20s, minimum temperatures between 6 and 10 degrees, wind speeds starting light and becoming southwesterly at 15 to 20 km/h, with rainfalls and a description of 'Sunny.'

Peninsula:

The maximum temperature is around 30°C, minimum temperature is between 10-16°C, with light winds transitioning from south to southwesterly at 15-20 km/h in the morning, becoming light in the evening, and a sunny day with no rainfall.

Gulf Country:

Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:

A mainly sunny day with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 26°C, light winds becoming southeasterly in the morning and then turning southwesterly by midday, with overnight temperatures dropping to 4-9°C.

Capricornia:

The maximum temperature will reach between 19 and 22 degrees with sunny conditions, a chance of morning frost in the southwest, light winds in the morning becoming west to southwesterly at 20-30 km/h midday and then light in the evening, and minimum temperatures dropping to between 3 and 8 degrees overnight.

Central Highlands and Coalfields:
