A high is on cleanup duty, sweeping away most showers in WA and keeping much of the country dry. Meanwhile, a cold front is barging into southeast SA, TAS, and VIC, bringing strong winds, showers, and a few surprise storms, and even causing some mischief in inland NSW. Over in QLD, the wind's taking a coastal detour, bringing in some cheeky coastal showers.

Windy.com ACCESS (Values are rainfall over 3 hours)
A high-pressure system is lounging over SE Australia, kicking back all the way to SW QLD, while a trough is on a road trip from central to west QLD. Soon, that high will pack its bags and head to the Tasman Sea, sending some showers to crash the east coast. Next week, the Coral Sea trough and an upper trough might throw a rain party, but they’re still figuring out the guest list and timing. Stay tuned for the soggy details!
