National

QLD and eastern NSW will see patchy rain and some storms due to moist, unstable winds. Gusty showers are expected in TAS and southwest WA from westerly winds and a weak cold front. The QLD coast will have showers from moist onshore winds. The interior will clear up under high pressure.

  • Tuesday: Eastern: Isolated showers. South: Isolated to scattered showers and patchy rain. Winds: Light to moderate northeast to northwesterly, shifting southwest to southeasterly in the far southwest after a trough.

  • Wednesday: Some showers on the east coast and central interior, becoming widespread at times with a chance of storms in central areas. Fog possible in the southeast. Above average minimum temperatures in central to southeast Queensland, below average in the far west. Daytime temperatures slightly below average in the far southern interior, near average elsewhere.

  • Thursday: Some showers in the east and north, chance of fog in southeast interior. Warmer nights and days in central to southeast Queensland, interior temperatures above average.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

Maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, minimum temperature of 9 degrees Celsius, wind speeds light becoming easterly at 15 to 20 km/h, slight chance of a shower near the coast, and partly cloudy conditions with overnight temperatures between 9 and 13 degrees Celsius.

Peninsula:

Max temperature: 30°C, Min temperature: 12°C, Wind speed: 20-30 km/h, Wind direction: East to southeasterly, Rainfall: Slight chance near east coast, Partly cloudy with light winds.

Gulf Country:

Mostly sunny with daytime temperatures reaching the low 30s, overnight temperatures falling to between 14 and 17, wind becoming light in the evening then southerly 15 to 20 km/h late evening.

Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:

Mostly sunny with a maximum temperature around 30, minimum temperature between 9 and 13, wind speeds starting from northeast to southeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h becoming light in the morning and then shifting to south to southeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h, with no rainfall expected.

Capricornia:

Mostly sunny morning with light winds, daytime temperatures reaching the mid 20s and overnight temperatures falling to between 8 and 12, slight chance of a shower, most likely in the evening, wind speed and direction unspecified, with no forecasted rainfall.

Central Highlands and Coalfields:

Partly cloudy with light winds, medium chance of showers in the south and slight chance elsewhere, with daytime temperatures in the low to high 20s and overnight temperatures around 9, along with a max temperature, minimum temperature, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall.

Central West:

The weather forecast includes a maximum temperature of 29°C, a minimum temperature of 9°C, light winds becoming southeast at 15 to 25 km/h, near-zero chance of rain, and a mostly sunny day with a Slight chance of a shower east of Longreach.

North West:

The weather forecast for the day includes a maximum temperature of 30°C, minimum temperature between 9-15°C, southerly winds at 15-25 km/h, no rainfall, and sunny conditions.

Southeast Coast:

The weather will be partly cloudy with temperatures ranging from low to mid 20s, light winds becoming west to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h, and a medium chance of showers mainly in the late morning and afternoon, with overnight temperatures dropping to 9-13 degrees.
