National

Cool winds will bring showers to Tasmania and southern Victoria. Moist and unstable winds will cause widespread showers and some storms in northern and eastern Western Australia, southern Northern Territory, and western South Australia. Onshore winds from a high-pressure system will bring showers to coastal Queensland and southern coastal Western Australia.

  • Monday: Showers in the east, spreading to central and southern areas. Fog possible in eastern districts. Warmer nights, cooler days in the southwest.

  • Tuesday: Sparse showers east coast, central and southern interior. Scattered showers North Tropical Coast and southeast interior. Fog possible eastern districts. High pressure system over southeastern Australia with a ridge extending eastward and southeasterly winds over Queensland. System remains slow-moving over coming days. Weak trough in central Australia to approach western Queensland, potentially deepening and slowly moving southward next week, reaching offshore of south Queensland coast Tuesday into Wednesday, then weakening.

North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:

Max temperature: 26°C, Min temperature: 10°C, Wind speed: 25-35 km/h easterly, Wind direction: East, Rainfall: Showers likely, Outlook: Cloudy with daytime temperatures reaching 19-26°C.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

The maximum temperature is expected to reach 26°C with a minimum of 9°C, winds east to southeasterly at 20 to 30 km/h becoming light later, with a chance of showers in the north and partly cloudy conditions.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

The weather will have daytime temperatures in the low to mid 20s with overnight temperatures between 9 and 14, southeasterly winds turning easterly at 15 to 30 km/h, partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the late morning and afternoon.

Peninsula:

The weather report for today includes a maximum temperature of around 30 degrees, minimum temperature between 14 and 20 degrees, easterly winds at 25 to 35 km/h, slight chance of showers near the east coast, near zero chance elsewhere, and it will be partly cloudy.

Gulf Country:

Max temperature: 30°C, Min temperature: 13-17°C, Wind speed: 20-30 km/h becoming light, Wind direction: east to northeasterly, Rainfall: None, Other: Sunny. Overnight temperatures falling.

Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:

The weather forecast includes a temperature range of 23 to 29 degrees Celsius, with east to northeasterly winds at 25 to 35 km/h, and a slight chance of showers in the Gregory Ranges, otherwise clear skies with minimal rainfall.

Capricornia:

Low to mid 20s temperature, 3-11°C overnight, light winds becoming 15-25 km/h, morning frost in southwest, slight coastal shower chance, mostly sunny.

Central Highlands and Coalfields:

The forecast includes a max temperature in the low to mid 20s, overnight temperatures between 1 and 8, wind speeds starting at 15-20 km/h, then increasing to 20-30 km/h, with wind direction shifting from east to southeasterly to east to northeasterly, and partly cloudy skies with areas of morning frost in the south.

Central West:

The max temperature will reach the mid to high 20s with overnight temperatures falling to between 4 and 9, winds increasing from east to northeasterly 15-20 km/h to northeasterly 25-35 km/h, and the weather being sunny with no rainfall.

North West:

Highs in the high 20s, lows between 9 and 14, easterly winds 15-20 km/h becoming northeasterly 20-30 km/h in the morning, light winds in the late afternoon, and "Sunny."

Channel Country:

The weather forecast includes maximum temperatures reaching 21 to 28°C, minimum temperatures falling between 8 and 12°C, easterly to northeasterly winds at 15 to 30 km/h, and a slight chance of showers near the New South Wales border in the evening with a near zero chance of rain elsewhere, becoming partly cloudy throughout the day.

Maranoa and Warrego:

Partly cloudy with morning frost in the northeast, light winds becoming northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h then becoming light, overnight temperatures between 1 and 7, daytime temperatures in the low to mid 20s, max temp, min temp, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall.

Darling Downs and Granite Belt:

Southeast Coast:
