A cold front is coming, so expect showers and brisk winds in southern Victoria and Tasmania. Moist and unstable winds will cause rain, showers, and some storms in the western interior and near the Western Australia coast. In north Queensland, moist winds will likely bring rain. High pressure means a chilly morning for eastern Australia.

  • Saturday: Mostly clear with isolated showers near exposed east coast. Showers increasing in North Tropical Coast. Light to moderate east-southeasterly winds freshening in northern Queensland.

  • Sunday: Mostly sunny with isolated showers on east coast, becoming widespread in some areas. Clouds and chance of showers in Channel Country. Morning frost inland. Below average min temps in south, above average day temps in far west.

  • Monday: Isolated showers on the east coast, becoming scattered in the North Tropical Coast. Showers becoming isolated to scattered in the southwest, spreading eastward to the central to southern interior later. Patchy morning fog in southeast. Minimum temps above average in southwest, slightly below in southeast interior. Daytime temps slightly above average in far west, central, and southern interior.

  • Tuesday: Expect scattered showers along the east coast and southern interior, increasing near the North Tropical Coast and southeast. Above-average overnight temperatures in central, southwest, and southern regions. Daytime temperatures higher than usual in the northwest, central, and southeast, but slightly cooler in the far southwest due to consistent cloud cover and showers.

High pressure over southern Australia interacts with low pressure in Tasman Sea, creating cool southeasterly airflow over Queensland. Weather pattern will change over weekend with possible trough and rainfall in southern parts next week.

North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:

Max temperature: 25°C, Min temperature: 10°C, Wind speed: 25-35 km/h, Wind direction: East to southeasterly, Rainfall: Medium chance of showers, Other: Partly cloudy. Overnight temperatures falling to between 10 and 18 with daytime temperatures reaching between 18 and 25.

Herbert and Lower Burdekin:

The maximum temperature will be 27°C, minimum temperature 8°C, wind speeds ranging from 15 to 25 km/h shifting from east to northeasterly, slight chance of showers in the north with near-zero chance elsewhere, and mostly sunny weather conditions.

Central Coast and Whitsundays:

Temperatures will reach the low to mid 20s during the day with overnight lows between 7 and 13, light winds becoming south to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h early, then shifting to east to southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning, sunny skies expected and no rainfall.

Peninsula:

The weather forecast for tomorrow includes a maximum temperature of 32°C, a minimum temperature between 14-20°C, easterly winds increasing to 25-40 km/h, slight chance of showers near the east coast, and partly cloudy conditions with temperatures reaching 27-32°C.

Gulf Country:

Maximum temperature around 30, minimum temperature between 13 to 17, winds east to southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h, sunny conditions with possible rainfall.

Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:

Max temperature: 29°C, Min temperature: 7°C, Wind: Easterly 25 to 35 km/h, Rainfall: 0 mm, Sunny.

Capricornia:

The weather will have daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid 20s, with overnight temperatures falling between 1 and 9, light winds becoming east to southeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h in the morning then becoming light in the evening, and Sunny conditions with patches of morning frost in the southwest.

Central Highlands and Coalfields:

Max temperature in the low to mid 20s, min temperature between minus 1 and 7 above zero, wind becoming easterly 15 to 25 km/h, sunny with areas of frost in the morning, light winds becoming easterly in the morning then light in the evening.

Central West:

Low to high 20s, 3-8, easterly 20-30 km/h, easterly, none, sunny, morning frost in southeast.

North West:

Max temperature: High 20s, Min temperature: 8-14, Wind speed: 15-30 km/h, Wind direction: Southeasterly to easterly, Rainfall: Sunny.

Channel Country:

The weather will be mostly sunny with easterly winds at 15 to 25 km/h, turning southeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h in the evening, with overnight temperatures dropping to 5-9°C and daytime temperatures ranging from 22-28°C, and there is no mention of rainfall.

Maranoa and Warrego:

Max temperature: Low 20s, Min temperature: Between minus 2 and 4 above zero, Wind speed: Light winds, Wind direction: East to northeasterly, Rainfall: Sunny, Other: Areas of morning frost.

Darling Downs and Granite Belt:

Clear and sunny with morning frost, light winds, overnight temperatures dropping to -1 to 1°C, reaching 20°C in the day, chance of fog in the southeast in the early morning.
