Friday: Expect just a few scattered showers around areas like the Southern Downs, Border Ranges, and Scenic Rim. The rest of the region should stay mostly clear. Winds will be mostly gentle to moderate coming from the northeast to southeast, with some stronger gusts along the Far North Queensland coast. By the end of the day, the winds will shift to blow from the southwest to southeast in southwestern Queensland.

Saturday: Most of the state will have sunny and warm weather, except for some scattered showers near the North Tropical Coast and the Cape York Peninsula coast. There might be some morning fog in the east below Mackay. The Channel Country will experience fresh and gusty winds blowing from the north to northwest. Temperatures will be higher than usual, especially inland where they may go well above average.

Sunday: Most of the state will be enjoying sunny and warm weather. There may be a few isolated showers in the eastern districts above Mackay and in northern Cape York Peninsula, but nothing too heavy. Some areas around the Cassowary Coast might see scattered showers on and off during the day. Watch out for morning fog in the east, especially south of Townsville. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the interior and southeast regions, and the southwest could even see some near-record August temperatures. Don't forget your sunscreen!"

Monday: Some fluffy clouds and a chance of showers in certain areas. There might be a few isolated showers along the North Tropical Coast too. Everywhere else is looking sunny and warm! The interior and southeast regions will be quite toasty, while the southwest will be a tad cooler but still on the warm side compared to usual.

Friday, this big high-pressure system will roll into the Tasman Sea and spread across Queensland. It will then start moving east over the weekend, keeping things nice and settled. By Monday, a trough (a kind of area of low pressure) from central Australia will nudge into western Queensland, bringing warm winds from the north. Throughout next week, a few more troughs will swing through southern Queensland, keeping it warm and toasty.
