National 4 Day Forecast
Windy.com ACCESS 4 Day 2PM Rain and Synoptic
Tuesday: A mixed bag of surprises, with a sprinkle of isolated showers possible along the South East Coast and up in Far North Queensland. Light to moderate winds will be blowing in all directions, almost as indecisive as the weather itself.
Wednesday: The weather will be playing hide and seek with some clouds, deciding to show off its shower skills on the east coast and Torres Strait. Meanwhile, in the Cassowary Coast and Daintree, the showers will be throwing a bit of a party, scattering around without a care. Expect mostly sunny conditions elsewhere, but keep an eye out for morning fog in Southeast and Central Queensland - looks like someone hit the snooze button a bit too many times! Temperatures will be channeling their inner Goldilocks - near average near the east coast, above average everywhere else, and feeling pretty smug about being well above average in the far west. Oh, weather, you never fail to keep us on our toes!
Thursday: Today's weather report: Delightful sprinkles may grace the open east coast north of Yeppoon, Torres Strait, and the southern Downs. Meanwhile, the rest of the region will be basking in glorious sunshine. Keep an eye out for patches of morning fog in the east, below Proserpine. As for temperatures, they'll be feeling quite fancy today, especially in the interior where they might even start feeling a bit too hot for their own good!
Friday: Sprinkles here and there along the east coast, Torres Strait, and southeastern Queensland, including the charming Darling Downs. Showers feeling a bit scattered around the North Tropical Coast. Expect sunshine pretty much everywhere else. Don't be surprised if you encounter some fog in the morning between Townsville and Brisbane. Temperatures keeping it cool(ish) near the coast, getting a little extra toastiness elsewhere, and heating up way too much in the middle of nowhere.
State
Windy.com ACCESS (Values are rainfall over 3 hours)
Well, it looks like we've got a high making its grand entrance in the Tasman Sea, ready to stir things up with those onshore winds and bring some good old showers to the east coast. But fear not, dear friends, for this high will saunter off to the east later in the week, giving us a breather with calmer winds and fewer showers. And just when you thought the drama was over, here comes a trough strutting into southwestern Queensland on Tuesday, bringing along some warm and gusty northerly winds for a bit of a whirlwind adventure across the state.
