Get ready for a blustery adventure! A low-pressure system with its trusty troughs and damp winds is set to blow through SA's southeast, VIC, TAS, and NSW, sprinkling showers and tossing about some gusty winds. Meanwhile, another low is teaming up with a cold front over southwest WA, planning a stormy party with a chance of heavy rain. But don't worry—up north, a high-pressure system is keeping things chill and dry, giving the interior a well-deserved break.

National 4 Day Forecast
Windy.com ACCESS 4 Day 2PM Rain and Synoptic
Saturday: A few random showers hanging out north of Lockhart River, and some sneaky raindrops in the southeast later on. Everywhere else? Crystal clear skies, baby. Winds doing the cha-cha from the northwest to the northeasterly, then breaking out into a southwest to northwestern groove down south and out west. Watch out for those zesty gusts in the deep southwest - they’re feeling playful! And up north, the winds are switching it up from northeast to southeast – they're indecisive just like that friend who can't pick a restaurant.
Sunday: Looks like Lockhart River might get a sneaky shower or two, but the rest of us can enjoy some sunny vibes. Don't let those westerly winds blow you away in southeast Queensland! Temperatures are playing it cool down south, but turning up the heat elsewhere.
Monday: Features a cheeky mix of showers up north and a sunny disposition everywhere else. You might even spot some morning frost doing its best to style the Darling Downs and Granite Belt District. Just remember, the temperatures are playing it cool east of Emerald, but turning up the heat elsewhere.
Tuesday: Prepare for a sprinkle here and there in the east, a dash of rain over northern Cape York Peninsula, and just a sprinkle in the central areas. But hey, don't worry, sunny skies are your BFF everywhere else! Temperatures are playing it cool in the east, heating up in most places, and sizzling like a BBQ out west of Emerald. Stay fabulously weather-wise, folks!
State
Windy.com ACCESS (Values are rainfall over 3 hours)
So, it looks like we've got a bit of a wimpy ridge hanging out over the state, doing its best to hold everything together. Meanwhile, there's a low in the Tasman Sea that's apparently decided to throw a little party on Saturday, inviting some extra winds to show up in southeastern Queensland. This low plans to be fashionably late on Sunday, though. Oh, and there's a weak trough making its way east across southern and central Queensland on Saturday - talk about a slow mover! Then on Sunday, a high from the Southern Ocean is all like 'Hey, let me cover for you, weak ridge,' and extends its reach over the state. By Monday, this high gets fancy and heads northeast to the Tasman Sea, bringing breezy vibes to the east coast. But don't worry, the high won't forget about us, it'll just be drifting east starting from Wednesday, casually keeping that ridge in place. Oh, and let's not forget about that weak trough thinking about visiting southwestern Queensland on Tuesday - good luck making the journey east by Thursday, buddy!
