National 4 Day Forecast
Windy.com ACCESS 4 Day 2PM Rain and Synoptic
Saturday:Expect the weather to mix it up with some showers in the south and east, while the North Tropical Coast is in for a bit more of a soaking. If you’re inland, you might need to navigate through some morning fog, so keep your eyes peeled! Temperatures are on a mission to be above average everywhere, with the west and south getting a little extra warmth during the day.
Sunday:The east coast is getting in on the shower action, and a few places might even see some heavy downpours. Inland, the showers are playing it cool, but central Queensland could be in for a bit of thunderstorm excitement. Temperatures are keeping up their above-average streak, with the west staying toasty and the east cooling off a bit.
Monday:Showers will be making their rounds in the south, central, and east, and they’re not shy about possibly turning heavy. There’s also a chance for a thunderstorm in the south, just to keep things interesting. Temperatures? Still above average and loving it.
Tuesday:Showers are going to try and steal the show across the state, with southeastern Queensland possibly getting drenched thanks to a coastal trough. Temperatures will keep playing the above-average game, especially in the south, but don’t be surprised if they vary a bit across regions. Tuesday’s keeping everyone on their toes!
State
Windy.com ACCESS (Values are rainfall over 3 hours)
A high-pressure system in the Tasman Sea is busy sending a wave of moist air to eastern Queensland, keeping things nice and damp. Meanwhile, a weak trough is hanging out in the state's interior, just minding its own business. But hold on, an upper trough is planning to make a grand entrance later, likely dragging a surface trough along for the ride and cranking up the shower activity in central and southeastern Queensland. Get ready for some soggy surprises!

Regional Round-Up
North Tropical Coast and Tablelands:Tuesday’s weather is playing mix-and-match with isolated to scattered showers across the southern, central, and eastern districts. If you’re in southeastern Queensland, keep an eye out for a possible surprise downpour, thanks to a sneaky trough. Temperatures? Let’s just say they’re in a bit of a mood swing – expect above-average minimums and daytime temps that can’t quite make up their mind.
Herbert and Lower Burdekin:Showers will be playing a game of “where will we pop up next?” across southern, central, and eastern districts. The southeastern part of Queensland might get a little more excitement with some moderate to heavy rain, courtesy of a wandering trough. Temps are planning to keep it cozy with above-average minimums statewide and a slight chill below average in the east, south of Mackay. But don’t worry, Wednesday promises a warm-up.
Central Coast and Whitsundays:Tuesday’s forecast is all about keeping you on your toes. Expect some showers playing hide-and-seek, especially in southern, central, and eastern areas, with the southeast possibly getting drenched. Temperatures will be warm in the west and south but might be a little shy in the east, especially south of Mackay. Wednesday? We’ll be turning up the heat.
Peninsula:Tuesday’s serving up a warm and cozy day with above-average temperatures, sprinkled with showers across the southern, central, and eastern districts. The southeastern coast might get a bit more action with moderate to heavy showers, depending on the mood of that coastal trough. Wind? It’ll be doing its own thing, as usual.
Gulf Country:Expect Tuesday to bring a little bit of everything – isolated showers, potential downpours in the southeast, and temperatures that can’t decide whether to be hot or cold. It’s a typical Queensland day of indecision!
Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders:Tuesday’s forecast is a mixed bag with scattered showers and the chance of heavier falls in the southeast. Temperatures will be playing it cool in the east and south, while the west gets to bask in some warmth. Above-average minimums are the name of the game statewide, with Wednesday promising to warm things up further.
Capricornia:Tuesday will be a bit of a rollercoaster with showers popping up here and there, and a chance of heavier rainfall in the southeast. Temperatures will be trying to find their groove – warm in the west and south, cool in the east south of Mackay. But don’t worry, Wednesday will bring more warmth across the board.
Central Highlands and Coalfields:Expect Tuesday to be a bit of a weather mixed bag, with showers and possibly heavier rain in the southeast. Temperatures are in a playful mood – warm in the west and south, cooler in the east. But as the week progresses, things will warm up nicely.
Central West:Tuesday is set to bring above-average daytime temperatures in the west and south, with a sprinkling of showers here and there. The southeast might get a little more rain, but temperatures statewide will trend upwards from Wednesday.
North West:Tuesday will be a game of temperature tag with the west and south feeling the warmth, while the east south of Mackay might need a sweater. Expect some showers with a chance of more substantial falls in the southeast. By Wednesday, things will heat up nicely across the state.
Channel Country:Tuesday will bring a smorgasbord of weather with showers, possibly heavier in the southeast, and a mix of temperatures – warm in the west and south, cool in the east. But don’t fret, warmer days are just around the corner.
Maranoa and Warrego:Expect a bit of everything on Tuesday – scattered showers, possible heavier rain in the southeast, and temperatures that range from cozy to cool. It’s just another day of unpredictable Queensland weather!
Darling Downs and Granite Belt:Tuesday will be a day of temperature indecision, with the west and south feeling warm while the east south of Mackay keeps it cool. Showers will be scattered, with the chance of a heavier downpour in the southeast. As for Wednesday, it’s looking like a statewide warm-up.
Wide Bay and Burnett:Tuesday’s forecast is a bit of a weather roulette with showers, especially in the southeast, and temperatures that are playing hard to get. The west and south will be warmer, but the east might feel a bit chilly. Look forward to warmer days starting Wednesday.
Southeast Coast:Tuesday will see showers making an appearance across southern, central, and eastern districts, with the southeast potentially getting the lion’s share. Temperatures will be on the warmer side in the west and south, while the east south of Mackay may stay cool. But no worries, Wednesday will bring warmth back to the whole state.
