Meanwhile, a trough over the Channel Country is doing the cha-cha and moving further east over southwest parts of Queensland tonight. Keep an eye out as it shimmies its way across the northwest, central, and southern interior on Monday, before making a grand entrance in South East Queensland and adjacent coastal waters on Tuesday. But wait, there's more! A new ridge and some moist onshore winds are teaming up along the east coast starting Wednesday. They'll be joining forces with an approaching upper trough to bring in some much-needed rainfall about the southern coast midweek, followed by a downpour about the tropical east coast later in the week. So, stay safe out there, folks! Whether you're battening down the hatches for stormy weather or preparing to sweat it out during a heatwave, remember to keep an eye on the forecast and take precautions to stay safe. Mother Nature may have some tricks up her sleeve, but with a little caution, we can weather any storm that comes our way.

NSW and ACT:

Well, brace yourselves for a wild ride as a feisty cold front makes its way across the state. Hold onto your hats, folks! Once it reaches the northeast by Monday, expect things to cool down a bit. Meanwhile, a high-pressure ridge will swoop in and bring some tranquility to the southern regions. But don't let your guard down just yet – a sneaky trough might stick around the northern coast on Tuesday or Wednesday, possibly causing a bit of a soggy situation. Stay safe out there, and remember to keep an eye out for any stormy surprises or heatwaves that may come your way.

VIC:

Hold onto your hats, folks, because we've got a cold front and trough making their way over eastern Victoria. As if that wasn't exciting enough, an associated low pressure system is passing to the south of Tasmania. The fresh west to southwesterly airstream following the front will ease on Monday, but don't get too comfortable because it's going to tend southwesterly as a high south of the Bight extends a ridge over southern Victoria. But wait, there's more! The high and ridge are going to hang around on Tuesday, with winds tending southeasterly on Wednesday as the high moves to the southwest of Tasmania. And just when you thought things couldn't get any more riveting, the high is set to move over the southern Tasman Sea on Thursday, with winds tending warmer northeasterly over Victoria. So, in conclusion, buckle up for some stormy weather and scorching heatwaves ahead. Remember to stay safe out there, folks!

SA:

Well, buckle up, South Australia! A high pressure system is making its way over from Perth, bringing with it some delightful weather patterns. However, be warned, this high is a mover and shaker - heading south of the Bight on Monday and then making its way eastwards throughout the week, finally settling over the Tasman Sea by Thursday. So, while we bask in the sunshine, remember to stay safe as storms and heatwaves may be on the horizon.

WA:

Looks like there's a bit of a low-pressure party happening over in the Pilbara, Kimberley, and North Interior. It's like the cool kids decided to hang out together and cause some weather mischief. And you know what that means - storms might be crashing the party soon. So, if you're out and about in these regions, make sure to keep an eye on the sky and stay safe. Storms can be unpredictable and you don't want to get caught in the middle of their shenanigans. And let's not forget about the heatwave making its way through the area. Watch out for some dramatic weather changes in Tasmania! A cold front is making its exit over the Tasman Sea, while a low weakens over the southwest. Stay safe as a high pressure ridge builds over the Bight, then slowly shifts to the west of Tasmania. By late Wednesday, the high will be hanging out just southwest of Tasmania before heading out over the Tasman Sea on Thursday. Keep an eye out for any stormy surprises and remember to stay safe in the heatwaves!

NT:

Hold onto your hats, folks! The weather in the Northern Territory is about to throw us a curveball. Expect some humidity, scattered showers, and thunderstorms up north. A cloud band will be making its way across the southern parts of the NT, but don't worry, it's slowly losing steam. A trough will be moving northwards across the Barkly, but it'll be fizzling out by Tuesday as a ridge takes its place in the southern NT. This ridge will bring cooler, drier winds our way, clearing out those pesky showers and thunderstorms. Stay safe out there and keep an eye on the forecast!
