Saturday, 5th October

Well, it appears that our friends in the Gulf Country, Central West, North West, Channel Country, Maranoa and Warrego, Darling Downs, and Granite Belt Districts are in for some rather warm temperatures today. So, be sure to pack your sunscreen and stay hydrated, unless you want to risk becoming a crispy critter.

Sunday, 6th October

Don't bother busting out your umbrella, as isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected in certain areas of Queensland. Rainfall will be scarce near a trough in the northwest, central, and southeastern regions south of Bundaberg. In the northeast tropical coast north of Ingham, showers will be scattered, with a tendency to become more prevalent north of Coen. The rest of the state will be basking in mostly sunny skies. Maximum temperatures will be soaring well above average in southeastern Queensland, and above average in most areas except for Far North Queensland. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures will be dropping below average in central and northeastern Queensland. So, get ready to sweat or shiver, depending on where you are in the sunshine state!

Monday, 7th October

Pack your umbrella and lightning rod, folks! Today’s weather report includes a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in central and southeast Queensland, specifically south of Springsure to Gladstone and east of Texas. Up north, expect scattered showers near Coen and isolated showers along the northeast tropical coast above Ingham. For the rest of the state, it’s mostly sunny with temperatures running above average, especially in southeastern Queensland. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures are below average in central and northeastern areas, but near or slightly above average elsewhere. Time to break out the calculator and crunch those numbers for a delightful day of weather analysis!

Tuesday, 8th October

Get ready for scattered showers and thunderstorms in central and southeastern Queensland, except for north of Rockhampton because they're special. There's a chance of severe thunderstorms in the southeast, but who really knows when or where they'll strike - it's like a surprise party from Mother Nature. Isolated showers are hanging out on the tropical east coast north of St Lawrence, but they might invite some friends to make it a scattered affair north of Port Douglas and over the northern Peninsula. Everywhere else, it's mostly sunny - because apparently, the sun needs some attention too. Temperatures are doing their own thing across the state, with most places feeling above or well above average - they must think they're too cool for school. The northern Peninsula is the rebel, staying below the temperature trend. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures are just trying to fit in, staying near or above average, except for the northern interior and Gulf Country - they're the hipsters, going slightly below average. Just another day in the wacky world of Queensland weather!
