National Synoptic Situation

So, we've got this ridge hanging out in the east of the state, thanks to a high pressure system chilling east of New Zealand. And then there's this trough making its way from northwestern to southeastern Queensland. Tomorrow, that trough is planning on moving up north into central Queensland, bringing with it some shower and thunderstorm action. Meanwhile, a new ridge is making its way across western and southern Queensland after the trough passes through. This ridge will bring a cooler southeasterly wind change to southeastern Queensland tomorrow. So, grab your umbrellas and maybe a sweater or two, things are about to get interesting in the weather department.
