National Synoptic Situation
Prepare yourselves as a stubborn coastal trough is teaming up with an upper level system to give us a delightful mix of showers and thunderstorms in central and southeast Queensland. This dynamic duo will bid us adieu overnight and into Thursday, only to be replaced by a weaker trough meandering from the Gulf Country to inland southern Queensland. This trough will take its sweet time before heading west later in the week. Meanwhile, a feeble ridge in the northeast will flex its muscles over the east coast on Thursday, thanks to a high near Tasmania making its way east. And just when you thought the excitement was over, a new weak trough might make an appearance in southeastern Queensland over the weekend. Oh, the weather never fails to keep us on our toes!
